Asking “what can I learn?” from situations is a great way to step out if the situation and just sit with it. Thats been great for me to stay grounded in stressful times. Thanks for sharing this!

Thank you for this! A devastatingly fragile ego sums up my narcissistic mother: constantly critical, never wrong, incessant need for validation, and downright cruelty. I was always but an afterthought, and often not thought about at all.
